Rainy days in Carmel
from Bruno's to buy a baguette, the rain is on my tail. No kidding,
clear skies in front and a sheet on rain behind. Wild!

Blogging from Tahoe
These days I find myself blogging from my iphones email interface as I
upload pictures taken from the phone, rather than blogging from
blogers web interface. Tonight I'm blogging via the iPhones notepad in
which I'll email to the blog. So via the notepad app instead of within
an email nor via the web interface. So... we'll see how the format
comes out after the posting.
We arrived in Tahoe for Caden and Boonies first time in the snow
and the first road trip for and with Caden. The ride up was easy and
fun. Caden was a joy and Boonie didn't mind being in the far back of
the SUV.
As we wait for Family and Friends to arrive at the house, Lady
Catherine and I are relaxing with some yummy South African wine
(Mountain River, Pinotage/Shiraz) while Caden and Boonie are taking a
nap.
The mountains are covered with snow and the town has about four
feet on the ground. Coming over HW50 into the valley we had a
beautiful glassy view of the lake, yes glassy, no wind. Flipping
beautiful.
Now recall that I wrote this is Boones first time in the snow, that
we know of. Being from New Orleans we were unsure how he'd react, but
he's taken it very well. Tail waging, spirits high, he is loving it!
I'm not sure which is my favorite scene so far, seeing him slide on
ice on the road or trying to stay balanced in dog-chest-high snow! :)
Tomorrow will be fun as we take Caden out in the big white.
Back to my Star Wars novel.
Sent via my way cool iPhone :)

1st time voter!
casting a vote. She's been excited all day and now monitoring the
delegate counts on TV all night. :)
Although proclaiming her first cast to all the volunteers, Caden still
stole the thunder as all the volunteer ladies wanted to take him home.
Appetizer
Large homemade chips topped with fresh guacamole, pureed salsa, touch
of salt, lime, cilantro and cheese with a side of fresh beer to wash
it down.
Thumb sucker
I am sure it is in the hopes of finding his thumb, which has been
naturaly tucked under his fingers in his palm. Yesterday he found his
thumb! What a cute sucking noise this makes.
