[ Lucky ]

It's been awhile since we've heard of or that I have blogged a Mtn Lion attack in the Bay Area. I can't recall that we've had a sighting locally for a few months. But today we hear of Jim Hamm being saved by his wife Nell it was truely an interesting story.

Lucky is the only way to describe the situation that the Hamm's found themselves in. Enduring a Mtn Lion fight is rare but on occassion the person has gotten away and this was one of those. In comparison those other cases were of a man or women fighting off a lion. This attack might have been my a teenage lion and quite possibly a second lion in the immediate area. The Rangers shot two and hopefully one of them was the culprit and hopefully it had a disease. If it didn't have a disease then the question is, why was he attacked.

As I stated about another Lion being in the area because usually teenage Lions stay together for awhile before locating their own area to dominate.
