[ Puma Concolor Unioncityo ]  Well now, a Lion was spotted over in Union City. Union City!? Hearing about a sighting in Union City one would naturally think the kitty must be lost but frankly the area is close to wilderness.

[ Mapping with Lat/Long ]  Today I created a nice cheat-cheat to remind me how to enter Lat/Long coordinates into maps.google. It's pretty neat if you do geocaching or want to locate your next SAR call-out before you leave the house. While doing this I came about two great resources to make mapping easier. One being a script from hackaday.com to push the coordinates to a map page listing both Google and Terraserver side by side. The Terraserver was having problems keeping the coordinates while zooming, so I dropped it from the script.

[ employee morale ]   I just love hearing how users can't access this or need RW to that all b/c their admin has a stick up their ars. Why do admins or even "the boss" have a need to control their systems in such ways. Do they really think they're creating a fun, creative and inspiring work place? Did you not recall the imploding that IBM experienced in the 80's? IBM would not be around today if they continued to be "The Man". Man relax, work is suppose to be fun and moving, so sit back, enjoy what your employees bring to the project and for god sake, pull your panties out of your ars! sidebar - boss if you are reading this, this does not relate to you........yet ;)

[ enough said ]   Someone IM'd me this hell funny clip from SNL.   Been a blog slacker of late. In a nut shell I've been busy taking care of wedding tasks. Under four more weeks to go and we're still having fun performing our tasks. I was procrastinating on a few tasks and this morning I realized SHIT I better get my ass moving!   Work has been busy too though I've been having fun learning how to build a PHP and MySQL server. My goal is to develop and internal blog server for our teams to share product and organization information real time. This will keep the overhead down in trying to maintain a traditional News server.   SAR has been busy not with call-outs but with assisting the 2005 Academy. Two weekends ago I was leading a team in Navigation exercises, it was a blast and happened to be my first time Leading a team.   We had the Bachelor Party this past weekend at Pinecrest Lake. It was a blast!!
